So I'm wondering if any other "Walking Dead" fans have experienced a surge of survival ideas popping into their heads over the last few seasons?!! I know that in my mind, I would be the "Rick" or "Shane" of my group, and everyone would be crazy to question my super savvy life or death decision making skills. However seeing as though this is unbelevably fictional, the truth is I would probably be the first one eaten!! I know I have a lot of fun throwing around ridiculous scenarios with my friends, and decided to share a few. First, THE OCEAN!! Why is this not the first place these people go?!! You're in Georgia for goodness sake, not North Dakota!! Get to the coast, and if you're lucky you'll find an island!! Secondly, why don't they just raid every store they come to? If you can risk going back and forth into town to just get what you want at that moment, odds are you can case that place!! And third, can't these people just get along?!! There are zombies out there!! I feel like that is plenty of motivation to look for a little human support from each other. Well there's my two cents, and I must say I'm glad that the writers of the Walking Dead are a lot better at brain storming than I am because if they followed some of these "survival tips" the show would be a lot less fun to watch. It really is tv gold, and as long as it's on I won't be able to take my eyes off of it!!
I love it. My first thought was also to move to a remote island somewhere. I've often wondered though since they are all infected and turn after death what would happen if someone died in the middle of the night of a heart attack and turned several others. Then it would just be the same problem on the island, lol. :(
ReplyDeleteIf it were me in the Prison I would have everyone sleep in a separate Prison cell. That way if someone died of natural cause in the night when they turn they dont kill everyone : )
ReplyDeleteI agree. I want to know what caused the outbreak. Science experiment? Chemical weapon gone wrong? I really hope they cover all of the loose ends before ending the series(though I don't want it to end). I know the comics haven't covered it and the writer said they may never b/c it wasnt the point of the story. But my mind will continue to wonder, lol.
ReplyDeleteMelissa, I really liked your Hawaii idea. That way you're surrounded by water on all sides, and all the dead bodies can go right in a volcano for sanitation, haha!! Plus if one island gets over-run, just jump to another one. Josh the prison cell idea is genius, so what they need to find is a prison ON AN ISLAND!! Problem solved, haha!! I am dying to know what caused all this!! My vote is secret government science experiment gone wrong!!
